About You
Very well organised. The virtual learning before the online course prepared us well for the (online) face to face sessions. I liked that we still got to deliver lesson episodes to develop our teaching skills even if it wasn’t in front of a classroom.
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. They explained everything well and made sure we were comfortable. They were very understanding about any technology issues.
Lots of support available.
The course was very helpful in providing information about a teaching career after my degree. Only reason it’s not a 10 is that the course won’t really help me to complete my degree.
The Company
Very well structured. Timetables were sent out before the event and covered during a welcome talk the week prior and at the beginning of the course. Ample breaks were given.
Very supportive. They gave lots of opportunities for us to interact with the other students. There was also a social quiz and debate during the course that were good fun.
They gave the same opportunities to everybody. Feedback was given throughout the course to improve development
We had as much practice teaching as possible with it being online. We heard from past and current trainees with Teach First which gave us an insight. It’s only not 10 because with it being online we couldn’t really understand fully.
Everyone was very friendly. We heard from lots of currents and past trainees about their experiences with the company.
Lots of great information delivered
Everything Else
No need. It didn’t cost anything.
Not one on one time but we did hear from other employees and get to ask questions.
Great social opportunities with other students.
There was a session dedicated partner organisations.
