    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Hard work but very enjoyable. Everyone had time for me so I have time for them.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone was really friendly and it seemed that they asked me to do work for the benefit of the firm - just not forcing me to read.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Always there to help. If wasn't present, other people would check up on me.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Good balance, I didn't take on too much work and when I wasn't busy I was able to source other work.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A large amount. I was taken to court and assigned a note-taking task. My work was analysed to check that it was correct but then would go out to a client.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The placement put the skills that I had learnt on the LPC into a practical setting.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
