    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed this taster as it provided me with an insight into the roles and responsibilities of a teacher. It was really nice meeting new people and hearing about their interests. My favourite part of the taster was when we were able to teach a lesson for some students.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • As soon as I got to the taster I felt welcomed straight away. We got to bond and talk with other people on the taster and they had food laid out as well as drinks for us to help ourselves to. This was really appreciated as I had been up early.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • There was loads of support even before the taster started. We were sent numerous emails that detailed about what would be happening on the taster as well as the aims. Furthermore we had a group call where people could ask any questions and more details were provided. We also got advice from people who had previously completed the taster which was nice.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This taster allowed me to develop my skills such as working in a team, punctuality, independence and more. This really helps with completing my degree and also once I finish my degree as I know the qualities needed for teach first. Also the information I recieved is beneficial if I go onto the teach first scheme when I finish my degree.
