    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It has been a really eye opening experience, I have learnt a lot already in my short amount of time here and have also enjoyed the work that I am doing

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My colleagues are very helpful and friendly and I feel free to ask any questions I want whilst also not feeling like I have no part in the team

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • At every opportunity I have been given instruction and clear guidance on how and what to do next. They couldn’t have possibly helped me more

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • At the start of the internship I wasn’t quite busy enough as I wasn’t as capable to complete as many of the tasks, however as I pick up how to do everything I am beginning to get busier but at the same time don’t feel stressed or time pressured

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I am understandably not given a huge responsibility as my job role would be far too complicated for me if I had to complete more work and have more responsibilities

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • They will help me massively having lots of experience in a real working environment and will benefit me as many other people won’t have had this experience

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was relaxed but also engaging and supportive. There were timelines to meet and schedules to follow so some periods did cause stress but in the most part it was a very comfortable atmosphere

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was well organised once I was enrolled but the enrolment process was lengthy and slow

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I have received lots of time with various people in the office and insight and training with each of them on there job roles . I have also been given work by these individuals and therefore am trained into what they do

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised Canteen

    Sports and Social Club

    Subsidised/Company Gym

    Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would love to work here full time as I very much enjoy the atmosphere and appreciate the brilliant opportunity that working here stands for

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I would say that as the hours were long there is less time to socialise and often people travel far to get to work so it’s harder to see people socially

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The cost of living was of an average rate and the housing provided by the company was excellent with brilliant facilities

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There was no nightlife as it was in an isolated area

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were lots of sports teams and other activities if you wanted to take part in them

    3/5
