    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • it was a busy environment and lot of fun learnt a lot of fun things and great as a person i loved it so much that i came back the next year to do it again it was a great opportunity for someone like me who wanted to grasp a feel of the professional life.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was always given more work to do as i understood more i liked the job more and my employers must have seen that to as they gave me more responsibilities i liked being kept busy it passed time and i learnt to be more resilience with work load

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • everyone in my department was lovely they were so kind and helpful I never had to feel alone or under trained they all wanted to see me learn and develop more and more hence i came back the next year I will go back again if the opportunity ever arrived.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • very busy even when i wasn't i would ask for more work as i like working and learning that the whole point of this opportunity to develop yourself and your skills its always a very well oil run machine that office environment it all just works out for the best

  • they tried not to tire me out with to much work but i asked for more when i could but they always presented and trained me with new stuff which i really appreciated and admire about the working relationship we had I would be lucky if i get that environment again

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • i learn how the professional life is and how it all works harmoniously if your do the work and have a good balance between play and fun as it can get boring if its all work work work so i learnt to balance my time and my work load to suit me

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • fun dynamic and positive it's all the result of the management and the day to day running of the office its a good flow of energy running thought the office and the people make it worth coming in to work i feel very blessed to have worked there

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • very organised when i started all the paper work and training material was provided to me i had 1 to 1 meeting with the manager every week and if i had any concern they would look in to them for me they were very open and helpful

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • there was internal and external training available all the time and help from the colleagues when ever i needed anything from them they always offered there guidance and never made me feel like i couldn't approach them so i am very happy with the training

  • definitely a must go and have a feel of the environment yourself and let the world know it will change your prospective on close minded companies and it will make you want to do more and more to help the company and develop a a person

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • yes always a drink on Friday after work the staff and management all get together to let stress put and discuss informal progress and let there thoughts out and reveal some fun stuff that the company is doing and also brag about thee kids :) that a given hahah

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • i lived at home so i didn't have to worry about living cost but eating and socializing was reasonable if you knew your perks of being a student and all the discounts available to you but it's all a click away the information i mean

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • the night life was fun Friday evenings we all used to hang out and see what is happening locally and do things together liking bowling drinks in the office or etc etc but it's all in good fun you will always find something to do

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • yes always there were emails about fun things all the time we just had to pick and choose and do what we wanted to do nothing was forced on to us and we never felt pressured its all a good vibe and still is i hope
