About You
I really enjoyed the insight day. I was able to work with lovely children and also understand Teach First a lot better. I gained insight to their aims and the programmes they offer in order to reach aforementioned goals!
The personal feedback made me feel valued. The fact that it was tailored individually shows that I had been listened to and they had my best interests at heart.
There was a lot of guidance throughout the days, through feedback and different opportunities to ask questions and gain opinions from different people!
It mainly helped my networking and communication skills. As I met an array of people from different backgrounds and they each brought something new to the table, I was able to adapt approaches and develop me team player skills.
The Company
It was structured well! It included breaks and other moments that allowed other attendees to network! We also had a variety of workshops which kept me on my toes!
The general atmosphere was very welcoming, with a good balance of formality and familiarity!
Again - through answering questions and tailoring feedback, I was able to see the interest Teach First place in their candidates
I was able to partially see aspects of my role, through people sharing their own experiences and the different activities that were organised
I gained a lot of insight into what the company intends to achieve and the work ethic needed to meet these goals! Nonetheless, each team member enjoys what they do and you could see this through the stories they shared and how they worked well together
It was very valuable. I’m still unsure as to what I would like to go into and Teach First allowed me to gain insight into potential future careers and begin exploring my options better
Everything Else
It wasn’t necessary for me to be reimbursed or paid as I didn’t live far away!
There were opportunities to meet other people in the firm, as well as other employees and people who had different experiences with Teach first in the past!
Really good! I was able to connect with other candidates really well as well as explore other opportunities and talk to different people during the allotted time for networking
Not really! I don’t think the employees shared this information (unless I have forgotten - apologies!)
Yes! It was super helpful and even if you find Teach First isn’t for you - you can gain so much from the experience!
