  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a fantastic learning experience, as this is an IMechE accredited scheme and you get to experience different sides of the business.

  • I feel that my work was greatly appreciated.

  • All the time, when I got stuck, there was someone to guide me through the issues.

  • Always busy.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In my second team, all the tasks that I received were individual projects, where I was the only one accountable for my work. So you are given quite a lot of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As I wanted to develop CFD skills, this placement contributed massively to my learning progress. It would definitely help me in the future.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It is generally quite relaxed.

  • No complains here.

  • I wish there was more training available, but all the resources that we had were just enough to get you going.

  • It is definitely an option.

  • The placement intake group was very engaged and bonded.

  • Generally the prices are pretty much what you expect, so nothing over expensive.

  • Rubbish

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • The young professional committee organized quite a lot of activities this year. Plus that there are always volunteering activities to get involved into.
