    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed it - met some great people and learned a lot

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt fairly well valued, and was given responsibility for more influential pieces of work or processes, which increased with time

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • You can often change manager or supervisor due to changing projects, so you often have to start these relationships again. However, I've found my managers to be very supportive, when I've gone out of my way to ask for their guidance.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • This varied. At times I was extremely busy - at others not very.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • This increased significantly over the course of the placement, and I feel ended at a level that would be considered quite high for an intern.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I don't expect the skills I've learn will help me significantly in my final year of university, however they will stand me in extremely good stead for 'beyond' when I subsequently return to work.

    5/5
