  • Great manager who was extremely accommodating. There was also a mentoring scheme in place.

  • Given high levels of responsibility, given projects to work on independently.

  • Great atmosphere - lots of undergrads in the same office. Worked in a really fun and vibrant department.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Big undergraduate community, lots of departmental and undergraduate nights out. Also went away for a weekend with undergraduates / grads to Prague.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Luton is a really cheap place to live with rent being nearly half what I paid at uni! Cheap nights out with drink offers.

  • Big fan of Liquid Luton and Legends...
