  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was really busy! Being the only Intern in Hammersmith, it gave me a lot to do. If a day was quiet, i always made sure I asked my manager for extra work. I was always kept busy so the job was never boring.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I valued my placement so much because I was given a lot of responsiblity, particularly at month-end. I was producing decks directly for the CEO. This was dawnting but also extremely challenging which I feel is important for a role in Finance.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • All the skills I developed will help me with my degree and beyond. I have became a lot better at Excel, particularly excel formulas. I have also learnt a lot about the Telco industry, as well as a lot about the world of Consumer Finance which will help me with future roles. A year in an industry is so important because practical skills help you learn and develop so quickly.
