    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I was lucky to be placed with a brilliant team who where willing to engage me with their work straight from the beginning.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • By my close colleagues I felt extremely valued, however more externally in the organisation I felt like people where unwilling to deal with an intern, and often passed me over for work I was responsible for delivering in order to talk to my boss.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • I was given brilliant guidance by my boss, in fact this was probably the highlight of my time there.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I was always busy, however this was due to extensive seeking out of responsibility and going above and beyond the requirements set. I know many of my colleagues where able to coast through their internship, as I could have done.

    • A fair bit of responsibility, although this waxed and waned depending on who I was dealing with.

    • They will be hugely invaluable.

    • Fine.
