  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As part of the internship overall, we had to manage a project which has been presented to the board of directors. Within the marketing team, I've had the chance to participate in different projects. I have written content for the website blogs, profiles and some PR. For our advertising channels, I have done some market research for out of home advertising and liaised with external stakeholders to secure costs and bookings for Glasgow and Leeds. I have also been monitoring content to ensure consistency across our Getting Back to Business media partners. I have also assisted our marketing events executive in different events and assisted the designers in video and photo shoots. I have venue sourced and liaised with all stakeholders to secure bookings of two of our consultant parties. I have also had admin marketing duties. I have also had the opportunity to do many social media takeover on Instagram and Snapchat.
