The Role
I've thoroughly enjoyed my year at enterprise. I faced a lot of challenges throughout my experience and I'm glad I decided to take a year and work.
Enterprise is a fun and friendly workplace, your team will always be there for you and making a customer service based role more worthwhile
Within your year at Enterprise you have a 12month study guide to work through to complete your management training program. So my manager sat with me weekly to complete targets for me to then proceed on to the next stage. you have a 10 month goal of completing your folder.
Rental is a fast pace and busy environment. there are some days where you only get 5 minutes to yourself or some days where its a little bit more relaxed. everyday at enterprise there is always something different going on so it makes its more interesting. The main role for me was customer service and sales; so providing great customer service and hitting your sales target will make you stand out as an employee and maybe even get you a day out the office to the Royal Ascot or F1 racing.
The more experience I gained the more responsibility I was given. once you've completed 3 stages out 4 you are able to start managing the day as the end result of completing the training program is that your promotable for an assistant manager. marketing was also an area we covered where we need to visit local accounts and get the enterprise brand out there.
I feel like I have a become a life long learner, where I have developed my managing skills as well as time management. The training I received will assist me in my degree applying it to any area of business.
