The Role
Enterprise has a lot of key founding values which contribute to enjoyment of the job such as "we work hard and reward hard work" which they really do live up to. Everyone who works for Enterprise is so charismatic that it would be hard not to enjoy working within your team.
Teamwork is a huge part of the company where the operation of the business would not work without total teamwork. My managers would give me great encouragement about how I am a valued member of the team, as well as new staff asking for help and guidance.
With so many managers around at my branch, you would be observed regularly so any feedback they may have would be immediately given. Every month, we would have a personal development meeting where they assess your goals and targets.
Always busy - never a chance to clock watch!
Throughout the placement, this would increase. But only if you showed the initiative that you wanted the responsibility. By the end of the placement, I was able to run shifts.
I study Business and Management studies, so everything I was doing throughout the placement was previously learned knowledge I had studied throughout my course. It also developed a lot of work place skills that anyone would somewhat lack had they not done a placement.
The Company
There was always a competitive atmosphere in the branch, however this was always kept friendly and fun. At the core was hard work and high achievement, but that never stopped everyone having a laugh whilst on the job as well.
The training classes were always very professionally put together and always of high quality and motivational.
The company invests in all its staff in terms of training and development. I was lucky to have multiple one-on-one training or mentoring sessions if I wanted them.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Very - I plan on returning full time once graduated.
The Culture
There were a social events throughout the 12 months for staff to enjoy time out of the office together, as well as organising informal meet-ups among work friends
I lived away from the area of work so cannot say
Never experienced the nightlife close to work, would always travel to nearest large cities
Again, I did not live near work, I traveled from where I live for university
