The Role
Overall I had a very fun year. I developed a lot of skills, went to a range of events and was given amazing opportunities I wouldn't have been given anywhere else. Aside from having my job, I had a number of other responsibilities in and around the company like writing for the internal magazine, being on the charity board and organizing charity days.
I was welcomed from day one, even by more senior staff. Now I feel like I'm so close to everyone!
Along side the 3-4 reviews were given yearly, I was also given monthly development meetings which focused on my personal development. I found this super helpful especially because it allowed me to focus on developing skills that I wanted to improve. I was also paired up with a more senior mentor who was always available to talk to me about any issues.
Super busy, as well as my role, I had a range of extra curricular I was involved in. Plus you get people coming up to you asking you for help daily!
I dealt with a lot of large accounts and it was my responsibility to handle the coordination of these. I was given a whole charity day to project manage and organize, which in the end ended up raising more than £11,000.
I learnt a lot of vital skills throughout my year, I learnt how to behave in a corporate environment, how to present, how to host meetings and work with a number of people from all around the world.
The Company
Happy happy happy. Everyone is always happy! Everyday will have a new campus event or activity that employees can get involved with.
I would say very organized. We had intern projects and training throughout our year. One thing I would say is for there to be more of a training structure in our actual roles.
We had a range of training as part of the on hire process. There are training classes that are open to everyone that I would have liked to see more of however.

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing. The career progression in Enterprise is very structured and its a company that invests in its employees.
The Culture
Enterprise organised two full intern days out, one was segwaying and the other one was laser tag which we had at the start and end of our placements, they were super fun! I would have liked to see more social outside of work events organised by HR though.
Egham in Surrey is relatively reasonably priced. I stayed in a flat with a landlord and paid £500 a month. This was in a near by area.
Apart from a pint after work on a Friday, there wasn't much nightlife.
Enterprise has so many committees and groups which are interested in a range of things. Wellness Committee, Charity Committee, Diversity Committee. All of which run external and internal initiatives and events.
