The Role
I found the placement very enjoyable, it has helped me develop further. The down sides to the job are very early and long days - however you have Friday off which balances it out. Also sometimes I would expect more serious jobs then the ones given - so after a certain point, because of the Undergraduate title you can't really develop further.
My work place was amazing, and I made many friendships in an office with limited number of people. All were helpful, understanding, kind and in many cases very amusing to be in company with. Outside the office every body tries to be nice to each other, and also get more acquainted. I think you can't do better then in here in this respect.
Supervisors which I was given were great, whenever I did not understand something or I lacked knowledge in the area they were always helpful and supportive. Whenever I had trouble I was not afraid to ask for it.
This was in some ways a roller coaster of a year. At first I was too busy, but after couple of months things have calmed down. Then there were moments when I had nothing to do. However as mentioned before the problem is that sometimes, because of your inexperience management is afraid to give you more crucial task, if that wasn't the case I think there is no way you could be bored in here.
The more responsible tasks are usually not given here, however the things which you do here are used in management meetings, audits and other crucial moments! Therefore your information is used to represent your office. There are also many tasks that will help both the production, and the running of the place. Therefore you strive to improve the place you work in which is quite responsible!
I think my data analysis skills have improved dramatically. Planning out my time to meet the deadlines has also improved. My communication and team work is unrecognizable after this year. This year has rested and improved me before my Master Degree, and it has only made me more excited about new things in life, that I hope I'll experience soon enough and will make good job out of it like this year!
The Company
Located in one of the busiest office in General Assembly, one would be surprised how well do people work together and what great company they are !
I think it is organised pretty well, you have few months where you basically easy into things, and then you start to receive more important task with each passing month.
You have lots of training along the way, you have all the relevant training in problem solving skills, health and safety, if you need more training in more specialized equipment you might even go abroad for training which is not bad at all!

If I would be offered a job back in Vauxhall I would not reject lightly. This place has been good for me, and I would like to get job here to face more challenging tasks, however I would also love to try working for other companies. Hopefully will experience both in some point of my life!
The Culture
Social scene within our year group was good, we always helped each other out. There were many socials gatherings outside of work as well - however I did not have time to attend most of them.
I lived in different locations, however I know that the prices although not the best are not the worst, especially to the money that Vauxhall offers.
Been on quite a few nights out around this area always a pleasure (Liverpool is not far off!)
There were some sports that I was aware of, but overall I wasn't that interested. Usually by the end of work you wanted to get home.
