    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I extremely enjoyed the time that I was at Enterprise. I received great hands-on work experience, while also having the opportunity to network and prepare myself for my future career. I wish I had gotten to stay longer!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • One thing that I noticed was that Enterprise is a company that truly lives its values. When they say they take care of their employees they mean it. This is something that you can feel throughout the business, because everyone is so welcoming and helpful. I always felt comfortable and that I could go to anyone if I had any questions or concerns. I truly felt valued during my placement.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had just enough support and guidance. At the beginning, I felt overwhelmed as I was in a new country and a new job, but my supervisor, and the team I was working in, helped me feel comfortable. They helped me out in the beginning and made me more confident in my abilities and by the end I felt confident in taking on tasks and projects with little guidance.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was always busy during my internship. Some days were slower than others, but there was always something to do. If it was a slower day for me I always asked what needed to be done and was given something to complete, which was nice.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I wasn't given as much responsibility as I thought I would be. However, once you get involved in different projects and tasks this seems to fall into place. It's all in what you take on and push yourself towards. The more you put into your work, the more responsibility you'll have.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I would have liked to have more training, but I feel like the skills I developed will help me in my job search and future career.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was always good. Everyone was positive, friendly and make you feel part of the team. Even in departments that you don't work in, there still seems to be a sense of teamwork and comradery.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Well organised.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They invest a lot in you and let you get involved in numerous things. I would have liked to have had more training in the beginning, but things fell into place after a couple of weeks.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    National Travel

    International Travel

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I am going to continue looking for opportunities within the company. Enterprise is a fantastic company to work for!

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes. Everyone was friendly. There were a couple of outings that were planned where everyone got to hang out and get to know one another. We were also put in teams for an intern project, which really helped us realise the importance of teamwork.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • 3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There wasn't any nightlife, but it is only a 45 minute train ride from London where the nightlife is endless.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes, there are a variety of committees that you are encouraged to be a part of.
