    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Work load was a little sparse, had to continually ask for more work but that was the only down fall.

  • Help and support structures were excellent, i was given a vast amount of responsibility from the start.

  • All colleagues happy to assist

  • A few days were i did not feel pushed enough with work load

  • I really saw how my degree was preparing me for this kind of role and have taken all my knowledge back to finish university.

  • Although open plan boringness the other employees were all very chatty and relaxed.

  • The scheme had guidance, it just could have been followed alot closer.

  • I went on numerous training days and was encouraged to try anything I liked.

  • I am seriously hoping for a job after university.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Most interns lived in the university halls of residence in Derby, which were rubbish, but making friends was very easy.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • About the same as most cities.

  • It leaves alot to be desired, although there are some nice bars.

  • There's a sports club but no events were organised apart from that.
