    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The team were all very friendly and welcoming from day one. I really enjoyed my time there, feedback was very constructive.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt fully involved in the team just like a full time member of staff. Everyone was extremely accommodating and welcoming and they were all like my family!

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The team were really helpful and flexible. The CEO was very busy, but did manage to make time for me whenever I asked him for help. Otherwise the producers were very helpful.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Perhaps a little too busy, but at least I learned a lot during the placement. I was thrown in at the deep end but that's how I prefer to learn so I think it was for the best.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility, I had mixed rolls with marketing and events, and was given the opportunity to run with my own events but also ensure I had enough supervision from the team.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think the whole experience has given me more experience than I initially got during my degree. It was really good.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was stressful and busy at times, but everyone always had a laugh, and lots of fun.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The organisation was good, there were induction sheets which set out what we were going to learn and an induction schedule along with a staff handbook with all the rules in it

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company didn't pay for any training courses for me, but did spend a lot of time teaching me things.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised/Company Gym

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Yeah I think there are - I would consider going back and working there again.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There are not many other placement students but with colleagues there was a good atmosphere, often went out for after work drinks when we were not busy but this was more difficult during the summer.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is expensive so this was a bit more difficult with travel etc.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife was average as Notting Hill is a bit quieter but there are a few good pubs.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yeah there were lots of opportunities to go to networking events.

    4/5
