The Role
I really enjoyed some aspects of my placement I feel like, they taught me how to always plan ahead in a business and how to mainly run a business
Everyone was really friendly during my time here, they were always willing to answer my questions and help me when I needed it and now I feel like we have all become good friends
I was given support but not specific at times to further develop me as an employee, but they were helpful when I needed it
Quite busy most of the time mostly Monday and Friday were our busiest periods
When I moved offices I was given more roles to do and I was running the office at times which helped me learn more about the business
Putting all the theory I learnt into practice and not just reading it from textbooks. It has also made me more organised and I feel like I can walk into another job and transfer those skills
The Company
Very fun there was always a buzz in the office at times, yet we still worked hard
There was regular training which I liked, it was kind of like refreshing your memory which I found very helpful and the whole process was very good as I can expect it to be in another job
At times they invested their time in me which was helpful and I feel like although I didn't achieve my goal I can still use the skills I learnt here elsewhere
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
If I could go into another role there I probably would, but not as a branch manager maybe something to do with marketing or human resources
The Culture
There was always a very social scene, which I though was quite good, we went on a few nights out, even if it wasn't a large amount of us going out
Quite cheap, which wasn't too bad
In Grays very non existent, but Southend wasn't too bad for a night out as there were a few bars and clubs there.
There was 6 a side football which some branches setup between themselves and when I started there was some charity work they had done
