The Role
I really enjoyed my placement and I learnt a lot about myself as well as developing myself.
I felt valued by my colleagues and my branch. I felt that my Branch Manager Duncan and Area Manager Vincent valued all the hard work, time and effort we put in.
At all times i was given help and support from my managers, whether it be an assistant, branch, area or city. There was someone to always speak to and ask for help. There was constant training as well and if you didn't want to ask someone for help you could always look on portal pages.
My branch was a very busy branch so we always had something to do which was good as you was constantly learning new things as well as dealing with customers.
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement. Due to my branch being such a big branch I was asked to run a late shift that we had for our corporate deliveries, this meant being responsible of keys and two drivers and making sure all deliveries were done on time. So in effect it was like running the day. I was also given several duties within the branch to complete on a daily basis.
I have improved my time management skills which will help when going back to uni for my final years. I feel that everything that I have learnt with Enterprise will help me when I go back to Uni as well as in the future with employment, especially the recruitment process I fell it gives you an in site into everything that you could possibly go through when applying for a graduate job.
The Company
Everyone at my branch had a really good relationship we all got on really well so work was done but at the same time we had fun doing it and we all had a laugh with each-other.
Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. All training was well planed and organised. Even the new hire week. Nothing seemed out of p-lace.
I feel enterprise put in so much effort to training us and helping us through the management training program.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
I am really looking forward to staying on with enterprise and continuing when I come back from uni. I know that I am valued when it comes to my hard work and effort so I want to continue working and I know I am welcome.
The Culture
I felt that everyone I started my placement with I have kept in contact and we all planned to meet during our placement as well as go out with colleagues.
The area I lived and worked in was affordable with regards to the pay.
N/A
As a branch we set up activities to do but there was always people willing to do things at enterprise.
