  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable. The work was challenging and interesting, and the environment very open and friendly.

  • I feel like I made a valuable contribution to my team and they have recognized that.

  • Interactions with management were frequent and I was given daily guidance.

  • Quite busy, there was a lot of work to do - but never more than could be reasonably handled.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The project was of such a nature such that even if it failed, it would not be a net loss for the team. So I did not feel like I was "running the show".

  • The technical and soft skills obtained were invaluable, and will definitely be of great help in the future.

  • Very open and friendly, sometimes maybe a bit distracting.

  • Organization was very professional, and the recruitment team were easy to interact with.

  • They offered a week-long training program as part of the 10-week internship.

  • I would seriously consider offers for permanent employment.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were plenty of events organized by the company for the interns, so those were good opportunities for social interaction.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Extremely high.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Virtually non-existent as this was a financial district, but from what I hear plenty of good nightlife areas around the city.

  • London offers endless attractions.
