  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • From the very beginning i have been fully implemented into the team, and very much feel like i am valued here. All staff have been hugely encouraging and helpful.

    • i couldnt ask for anything more from my line manager and other colleagues.

    • i have lots of key responsibilities and hold regular meetings. i am never short of things to do.

    • i feel like going back to Uni for the final year will be a lot easier with the experience i have gained.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • team was a bit stretched at times on a demanding project. however this gave me a great opportunity to get my teeth stuck into things i would not have otherwise.

    • bit of confusion at the start but everything was rectified quickly

    • line manager, project managers and construction managers always gave me the time of day to progress and learn. i was never a burden and given every opportunity to develop.

    • i would 100% join mace full time if the opportunity is presented to me.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • being at the airport is a bit isolated from the main body of placement students. however as a mature student this doesn't bother me. still had the opportunity to visit other sites people were working on in central London.
