About You

1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I really enjoyed my experience, everyone was very friendly and I think that everything I learnt I will be able to use in the future.


2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

Ultimately I knew that I couldn't take on too much responsibility during my time here and that was reflected in the work load that I received. However the work that I did get too complete gave me a decent insight into the firm itself.


3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

Both people in my team and in other practice areas were always willing to answer my questions. At times I didn't even realise that I was talking to a partner.


4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

I can't be sure where I will specialise yet my familiarity with CMS systems certainly gives me an edge should I be invited to come back as a trainee.

5. How well structured was the insight?

The program was very detailed and covered a broad range of topics.


6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

CMS has a genuine collegiate atmosphere. I couldn't have ended up at a more friendly place to begin my careers in law.


7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

They treated us as if we were actual trainees when taking us through IT and systems trainings. Very helpful.


8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

I honestly feel very comfortable to take on a role at the firm.


9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?

No doubt CMS ticks the boxes in terms of CSR, Diversity and Inclusion.


10. How valuable was the content of the day in helping you to decide on your future career path?

I've decided that I want to become a trainee at this firm

Didn't need travel reimbursement.

12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

We had two or three opportunities, that was sufficient.
