The Role
A very enjoyable year with great colleagues and challenging work.
Very much so; I was given tasks with a lot of responsibility and my colleagues understood this and were grateful of the work I produced.
At the start I was given all the necessary support. Over time this was reduced and although the work became harder as I had more responsibility, it was more rewarding.
Overall, satisfactory. I was given a large project to work on for the last few months. This did not take up too much time though and so some days I was twiddling my thumbs.
As time went on I was given more and more responsibility. This was at first quite daunting as I had to ask clients some technical questions but it proved to be a positive thing.
The program was more about client relations and skills such as confidence and communication were built on, rather than technical knowledge.
The Company
Relatively boring. My colleagues were friendly but the work ethic was very strong so there was not much time for messing around/joking with colleagues. However I definitely enjoyed conversations with people at lunch/social events.
Extremely well. AW were highly organised and made sure I got everything out of the placement that I wanted to.
Very much so. All necessary training was given, software was made accessible and I also attended a trip to the HQ in Italy.

It is quite likely that I will be accepted onto the graduate scheme.
The Culture
Really good. There was loads of interns and graduates that I shared good banter with and nights out were always a laugh!
Quite expensive but Bristol is notoriously so. I still had enough to enjoy nights out every week though.
Very good, Bristol has endless bars and we explored a fair few!
The young persons committee at AW set up loads of activities which were great fun.
