    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed the one week winter vacation scheme at the firm. It provided me with a great insight as to what life as a trainee is actually like. I was able to chat to various trainees about their experiences at the firm, the challenges they faced and the things they enjoyed the most. I was given great exposure to more senior lawyers, sitting in an office with an associate and observing his work the whole week. The amount of social activities organised by the graduate recruitment team was excellent and allowed all the vac scheme participants to get to know each knowledge well in a short period of time.

  • I feel quite valued during my time at the firm. I was made feel very welcome at all times in whatever I was doing, whether it be chatting with the vac schemers, the trainees or the lawyers.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I received a very good level of support during the insight. We were provided with a detailed timetable of everything we were doing so we knew in advanced. If I had any questions or problems the graduate recruitment team were extremely helpful. Furthermore, when I was unsure on a point of law the associate was only too enthusiastic to help me.
