  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my time at Rolls-Royce, there was always work to do and it was always interesting

  • I felt as though I was one of the team. They were always happy to help and I would love to work with them again

  • My supervisor was away a lot but I always had the support of the rest of the office. I always had help when I needed it.

  • Very busy

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given my own projects and they were entrusted to me - no one was checking up on what I was doing at any point.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The work I was doing was very specialised, but it was technical. I was also given opportunities such as presenting and report writing which was a massive help.

  • It was a hard working environment but I enjoyed every day

  • I had the right amount of work to do, it was set up well.

  • I had a supervisor to help me and was given a lot of opportunities to learn and improve myself

  • I was offered a job, I didn't have to think twice before accepting.

  • There are a lot of interns and grads and there is a regular and extensive social calender

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Bristol - not too expensive

  • Bristol!

  • The grads and interns had a lot of activities as well as those from the office I worked in.
