    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The vacation scheme was amazing, but if you actually make it as a trainee the hours are always goign to stop it being the best job ever

    • Everyone included me as if I was already part of the team

    • One of my supervisors was exceptionally inclusive and openly valued my presence, the other supervisor was still really interested in what I could get involved with but less so

    • Always had something to do but was never too rushed for a long lunch/ gym/ manicure/ coffee break

    • I got a surprising level of responsability working on a closing a deal with only one other trainee and one partner

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I was surprised at how much the practical focus I have learned helped me in how I am going to approach my revision next year

    • Its an office, but there was a bit of banter

    • They looked after us and organised the training sessions and socials seamlessly

    • We got presentations on nearly all of the departments, detailed and personal appraisals and loads of advice for interviews

    • I want the job with them

    • The majority of socials were definitely not being babysat by hr

    • Its central london...pretty expensive

    • Its central london...pretty lively

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • The sports clubs are really active and I played quite a few matches during my itnernship for the firm
