  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My internship was very fulfilling. I was able to gain great insight into the area that I was interested in. I did the same work as an analyst would do and had a good team around me..

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere I think the office was pleasant. The people around me were always willing to help when needed and there was many people to have conversations to related to both work and social aspects. I always felt that everyone was approachable regardless of position.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship was well organised overall. There could of been improved communication with interns and maybe more intern events by HR but overall the work aspect of the placement was very well handled. This was helped by the organisation of my direct supervisor who ensured that there were few issues and any issues were dealt with in a timely manner.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was given one week of training which I feel was pretty helpful for understanding the company. Some of the things that we learnt will be relevant regardless if where I go in my career. For example, the excel skills training. Other aspects were more relevant to Accenture but still somewhat transferrable. Also received lots of on the job training which will help me in the future.

  • Above 25 days holiday

    Working from home

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The likelihood of me going back is very high. I hope to go back provided I meet my educational requirements with my degree. It was a very enjoyable place to work and everything about it that I have seen males me want to go back. The social, financial and work aspect of the company is something that I feel rates very highly and I feel there aren't many negatives at all.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were not many events organised to socialise with other interns by the HR department. However this may be because of the short time frame of the internship. There were events that were organised by other interns and this was very enjoyable and allowed us to get to know the other interns.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost of living and socialising was very high as we were in central London. This was slightly annoying although the salary was good it was difficult to socialise as the cost of living was so much. However, I assume this is very typical of most internships within london due to the cost of living and socialising being much greater than other areas.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The night life in the area I worked was very good. There were a lot of bars and clubs and restaurants to visit and I made an effort to see many. However, due to the cost of going out I was unable to do this as much as I would have liked. However, any nights out were very enjoyable and were worth the price

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were a lot of clubs and societies within the firm. Unfortunately due to the length of the internship not being the longest it was somewhat hard to get involved. There were some events I was able to go to and they were enjoyable and allowed me to network and meet other enjoyable people.
