Product Security Engineer Placement

BAE do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected, on our Graduate Programme, you will be required to attend your site 1 week in 3 weeks but this could be subject to change and more days added. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager

Salary - Salaries for our industrial placements start from £23,100

What you will be doing

You will take a lead role in supporting the business in managing the software and product security aspects of a number of specific systems through design, manufacture, integration and test. You will provide expert support to both internal and external organisations, ensuring that system requirements related to these disciplines are met.

Follow your passion with the following responsibilities: 

You will take the lead in supporting the Business in managing software and product security aspects of a number of specific systems through design, manufacture, integration and test. You will provide expert support to both internal and external organisations, ensuring that system requirements related to these disciplines are met.

In the Product Security role you will work towards ensuring that our products are as secure as possible and developed with an understanding of modern Product Security best practice within a team of experienced professionals. You will consider aspects of complex designs in terms of cyber and physical security.

Skills

  • As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related degree.
