New Business Sales Placement

New Business Sales is the lifeblood of any business. In this role, you’ll be part of a high energy, dynamic and high performing Sales team. Led by senior Business to Business Sales experts with years of experience, you’ll gain invaluable skills and knowledge during this placement to set you on a path of a super high-earning software sales career.

The placements in our Sales team often come back following graduation to become stars of the company. This is a great opportunity for someone serious about a Sales career.

Responsibility will be given to those that can handle it, and sales commissions are available for all placements that can complete the sales process with potential customers.

The team are close-knit and support each other in the office, or on the many social events that the team organises. In our opinion, it’s the best Sales placement role that you’ll find!

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Building Customer Rapport – Each element of the role is strongly focused on communication with prospects. You’ll be responsible for managing prospective clients through the entire Free Trial process. Having the ability to build relationships and rapport with clients quickly is a vital skill you’ll adopt in this exciting role.
  • Sales Management/Lead Generation – This will involve scoping and documenting requirements, managing the entire sales cycle, and supporting other sales staff on larger sales where required. You’ll be expected to engage with prospects through different mediums, including phone and email. In addition, you’ll be responsible for driving the number of opportunities, including Free Trials, Demos and Onboarding Experiences.
  • Presentations/Demonstrations – A key part of your role will be demonstrating our software to prospective clients. To be able to deliver high quality, relevant demonstrations, you’ll need to be able to translate customer requirements into efficient and desirable solutions and present these in an appealing, persuasive manner.
  • Customer Service – At ProspectSoft, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, and every member of staff needs to contribute to this. This will involve providing timely answers, assistance and escalation in a professional and friendly manner that reflects our core values.
  • Organisation – It’s imperative that you have excellent organisation skills to ensure you successfully manage and meet desired timescales for prospective clients and internal deadlines. This will require you to liaise and co-ordinate with team members across the business, and most importantly with the client.

  • Completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement
