Your duties and responsibilities:
At ASM we're looking for an enthusiastic student to join us and have an active role in developing our business. This role gives you a great opportunity to experience working in a variety of areas of the business including finance, consultancy, project management and engineering.
You'll be...
- Producing and interpreting monthly finance reports.
- Supporting the creation and implementation of business cases.
- Involved in the commercial aspects of our customised solutions
- Involved with commercial assessments of our products
Your profile:
- Currently studying for a degree in a Business Management, Business Studies or another relevant field
- An interest in the commercial and Financial aspect of business
- Strong IT skills
- Able to communicate effectively both face to face and in writing
- Able to build stable and useful working relationships
- Approachable and responsive to new ideas.
- Able to organise own time and workload to deliver against tasks set by others.
Training and Projects
We’ll help you make the most of your placement by offering you on the job training with your manager, peers and this will be supported by an agreed development programme. We have a plan individually tailored to each placement in order to track your performance and help you to enhance your existing transferrable skills as well as your course specific skills.
On top of your day-to-day role, you will also have the chance to get involved in a variety of projects. These projects are in addition to your job role and include team working, exciting project management, creative and innovative thinking and representing the business at STEM events. There are also opportunities to be involved in the development and release of our new technology.
