Housing Support Student Placement

Housing Support Student Placement in Access to Homes. Access to Homes is a key service area within St Leger Homes and is a very exciting place to work with great career opportunities across a wide variety of roles.

We are offering a one year student placement opportunity for someone who is passionate about housing and communities and who would like to gain experience of working within an organisation dedicated to service excellence and improving people’s lives.

You will gain experience working across a diverse range of services providing front line services to customers, liaising with partners and delivering a frontline homelessness service.
You will be studying for a relevant degree course and have a knowledge of social housing, homelessness or a related function.

About The Role

This role will offer the right individual experience in:

• Understanding homeless legislation
• Organising work and meeting deadlines
• Applying operational policies and procedures in a practical way
• Project Planning
• Working with external agencies to deliver positive outcomes
• Developing strategies and procedures in a work environment

You will have experience of carrying out research and presenting your findings either verbally or in writing. Because your research may include engaging with our customers or other partner organisations you will need excellent communication skills.
