Early Engagement Service Virtual Experience

Get Into Teaching is a free service provided by the Department for Education to give information and advice to those who are looking at a career in teaching.

As a first- and second-year undergraduate, you can get free one-to-one support from an experienced teaching professional to guide you through your journey into teaching.

Our Teacher Training Advisers, based across the country, will provide you with as much or as little support as you need to get you one step closer to the classroom.

Your Teacher Training Adviser will:

  • Give you practical advice and guidance at each stage of your journey that is tailored to your needs.
  • Provide information about any financial support you may be entitled to.
  • Help you overcome any barriers you may be facing in becoming a teacher.
  • Finding teaching events in your area.
  • Help you arrange your school experience.
  • Provide support in writing your personal statement and preparing for interviews when you are ready to apply.

Whatever support you need, your adviser will be just a phone call, text or email away. To access the service, click the button below.
