Software Developer (C++) Placement
We're looking for a placement student to join our software team. You'll be given the opportunity to help us create the software that brings our industry-leading interfaces and music-making tools to life. At Focusrite you’ll discover how we love to innovate with products such as Scarlett, Launchpad and RedNet.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working in an Agile team
- Learning and adapting quickly in response to user feedback
- Contributing to important decision making
- Engage in modern software development practices such as: test-driven development, user-centred design, peer reviews, continuous integration and pair programming – this will be an important part of your daily routine
- Working alongside your assigned mentor in order to develop existing skills as well as learn new tools and techniques.
What We're Looking For:
- Comfortable writing C++ software
- Familiar with version control systems such as git
- Passionate about music and audio technology
- Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work
