This role is suited to students who are looking to start their placement year in September 2021.

Our quality placements are available in a number of departments including Launch and Change, Quality Management Systems, Vehicle Quality Testing, Functional Validation and Integration and General Quality.
You will be testing vehicles and assessing faults through analysis. You will need to ensure all testing guidelines are followed and will need to log incidents raised during the testing process. These will need to be recorded promptly and steered into the BMW problem resolution system. This is a great opportunity to get hands on with our vehicles, you will be providing customer orientated evaluation on a range of vehicles in various specifications, enabling faults to be reported quickly and rectified efficiently. This role is ideally suited to someone with an analytical mind who has knowledge of computing solutions.

We take on over 200 placement students each year across all our UK sites. Each of our placements last for a duration of either six or twelve months. We are responsible for the 4 UK Manufacturing sites (MINI Plant Oxford, MINI Plant Swindon, BMW Group Plant Hams Hall, Rolls Royce Motor Cars Goodwood) as well as our National Sales Centre (Farnborough).
