We have an exciting opportunity for a paid internship within our European IT team, where you will be able to gain valuable work experience in a global FMCG company.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Studies/Economics intern to join our IT team based in Folkestone, Kent on a 12-month contract commencing in Summer 2020. This varied role will incorporate taking briefs from multiple areas across the EU business unit, creating and maintaining dashboards in Power BI (data visualisation tool) to meet requirements. Support for the direct to consumer business to include, website data validation, analysing direct marketing campaigns and sales. Project support for ongoing business initiatives.
Our ideal candidate will be articulate, able to work on their own initiative, numerate, experience with data/spreadsheets.
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from current students looking to undertake an industry placement year and also graduates seeking their first Business Intelligence opportunity.
- The ideal candidate will:
- Be an undergraduate/postgraduate ideally in Business Studies or Economics
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Proficiency across all Microsoft Office Programs
- Good attention to detail
- Experience with data entry and visualization is desirable
- French/German language skills would be an advantage (but not essential)
