Digital Transformation Consultant

  • You’ll take on a project management role for a variety of initiatives such as demand generation events and development of partner engagement strategies across a broad range of industries.
  • You will support the team in building business value propositions to generate and increase business deals.
  • You will engage in the execution of targeted sales opportunities.
  • You’ll work closely with the head of the Value team and gain knowledge and first-hand experience of digital transformation across all industries.
  • You will assist with internal initiatives which ensure the team’s consistent efficiency and high quality.

Expectations and Tasks

This is an exciting role in a fast-paced team. Tasks include:

  • Participate in interactions with customers (meetings, presentations) to understand strategic objectives, and develop key improvement opportunities and other sources of incremental value
  • Assist with creative projects around exciting new innovation within the software industry; asking ‘what contexts can we use this in to excite our customers, and how do we demonstrate this?’
  • Provide sales cycle support - from industry expertise to looking at the digital future of a company
  • Help devise pipeline build strategies and scale initiatives resulting in increased pipeline, revenue, and elevation of SAP’s leadership position in a regional or industry segment.
  • Contribute to and leverage a repository of key performance indicators, business benefits and benchmarks to develop comprehensive sales selling programs. Adopt and execute scale initiatives which elevate SAP’s leadership position.
  • Research into industry specific trends, digital innovation, future capabilities amongst other things
  • Working closely with the head of UKI IVE and sitting in on customer meetings
  • Working closely with team to follow up on activities and agreed actions
  • General Operational Support therefore the opportunity to interact with wider areas of the team

Ideal Candidate:

Bright, articulate and motivated students who are currently on course for a 2:1 degree with the following key competencies:

  • Business, accounting ,IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
  • Time Management
  • Team player
  • High energy level
  • Effective communicator / good interpersonal skills
  • Inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions
  • Logical
  • Focused and organised
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budget
