Science Communications Placement

We are looking for an undergraduate to support, and in some cases lead, the development, design and content for R&D’s web-based communication/social media presence.

Job responsibilities may include:

  • Identifying and researching emerging trends/technologies and delivering clear thoughts to the strategic improvement of R&D’s external web-based communications, including social media
  • Use of @BAT_Sci twitter account; including the short to medium term planning of content and monitoring of social media presence
  • Working across all R&D’s departments to understand the science and facilitate content planning and preparation
  • Having a proactive and collaborative approach to achieve work through others, supporting internal and external teams to process content and deliver project goals
  • Use of other in-house departmental tools to collate publications, statistics and content for use in engagement activities

Degree Disciplines

Web-technologies/communications, Science or mathematics based degree with an interest in digital communications or a Communications degree with an interest in science.
