From day one as an intern, you will be given real responsibility, with your work directly impacting Travelport’s success. As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of activities to help deliver against key department initiatives and strategic projects. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in charity activities recognized company-wide which has proven to be successful with our previous Interns raising an astonishing £11,716 for their chosen charities.

Travelport is offering undergraduate students the opportunity to undertake a challenging and rewarding Customer Research/Customer Experience work placement with us as part of their degree. We place a large amount of trust in our interns, allowing them to work with vital company information and giving them the freedom to manage their own workloads.

What might your role involve?

  • Learn to use data analysis and customer research tools and help to run customer surveys
  • Research and consolidate information in a presentable format to be shared with stakeholders
  • Update & develop databases to support ongoing customer research needs
  • Understand the customer touchpoints from the customer point of view and help to eliminate pain points and leverage the areas of success
  • Assist with the running of workshops to better understand business process and customer needs
  • Own assigned projects and look for additional opportunities to contribute to team goals

What is Travelport looking for?

Customer Research/Customer Experience Interns must:

  • Be working towards a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree (Business, Management, Psychology)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint) etc.
  • Have great interpersonal and team working skills
  • Have strong organizational skills
  • Have an excellent attention to detail
  • Be self-starting, pro-active and have a motivated attitude
  • Be able to work on several projects in parallel
