Our Supply Chain Intern Placement Programme is first-class when it comes to giving placement students real insight into working in a large global manufacturing business whilst preparing you for a professional career.
What you will get
During the placement you will gain invaluable experience working with a team of diverse employees. From day one you will be mentored by highly skilled Supply Chain professionals who will guide and support you to ensure you receive the maximum from your placement.
As a Supply Chain Intern at Eaton you may be involved in project management, strategic supplier sourcing/commodity management, logistics/trade management or new product development. The scope of the assignments allows interns the opportunity to provide value to the organization by achieving a well-defined, important strategic objective for the Supply Chain function. In addition you will have the opportunity to collaborate with difference departments such as Manufacturing, Quality and Customer Services witnessing how various departments of the business work together in order to achieve critical business metrics.
In addition you will join an established programme alongside a cohort of interns from across the UK offering the opportunity to attend numerous training sessions and skills workshops.
Qualifications
Candidates should ideally be undergraduates working towards a minimum of a 2:1 and studying in a related discipline. Please provide your first year classification on your application. As our placements are based in multiple sites across the UK you must be geographically flexible. You must have legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without company sponsorship and where appropriate comply with ITAR regulations.
