Infrastructure – Environment Undergraduate Placement Scheme
We deliver innovative solutions to some of the biggest environmental challenges of our time. So, we’re looking to develop the skills of the industry experts of the future. Our specialisms include geo-environmental engineering, contaminated land, waste management, air quality, environmental impact assessments and urban design. This means varied careers for our environmental scientists, ecologists, hydrogeologists and acousticians.
Learning alongside business leaders, you’ll get involved with activities in one of these specialist teams:
- Contaminated Land & Hydrogeology - Birmingham and Epsom
- Ecology – Birmingham, Epsom and Warrington
Who we’re looking for
- Talented undergraduates working towards a degree in environmental science, ecology, flood risk, hydrology, geology, hydrogeology, or a relevant scientific or design discipline
- For Summer placements, you must be available to commit to a 8-12 week placement, and following this placement return to full time education
- For Year in Industry placements, you must available to commit to a 10-12-month placement, and following this placement return to full time education

Contaminated Land and Hydrogeology (CLAH) – Birmingham and Epsom
Ecology – Birmingham, Epsom and Warrington
Water Management Consultancy – Epsom, Oxford and Warrington
