Internal Sales and Marketing Assistant

Panasonic are market leaders in Air Conditioning in Europe. The UK market is presently growing and continually developing, whilst redefining its existing and new customer base. This gives you a great opportunity to learn all aspects of business and most importantly put your mark on this expanding business.

You will be a vital member of the team and will play a significant role in supporting and liaising with colleagues and customers in this challenging, varied position. You will need to keep up to date with changes to the business environment along with changes to the product range.

Your role will be the link between different sectors within Panasonic Air Conditioning (Technical, Sales, Marketing and Order Processing), in order to keep them updated and aware of news within the department, therefore ensuring a seamless workflow.

Outline of Duties:

  • Working directly with the product manager on a day to day basis
  • Organising events and exhibitions
  • Ordering, distributing and managing promotional materials
  • Budget management (cost allocation, invoice management, cross-checking accuracy between allocations and postings)
  • Updating records
  • Managing and storing partnership agreements
  • Manage seasonal promotions
  • First point of contact for Panasonic accredited partners
  • Daily Website maintenance
  • Proof-reading press releases, case studies and various written materials for UK and Europe
  • Liaising with design agencies and external partners for events, media and promotions
  • Daily Social Media maintenance

Person Specification:

  • An excellent team player
  • Impeccable oral and written communication and numerical skills
  • PC literate, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to manage your time effectively, be self-driven and ensure targets are met
  • Good organisation skills
  • The ability of spotting fine details
  • Adaptable to a constantly changing job role
