Quality Placement

Our Quality Intern Placement Programme is first-class when it comes to giving placement students real insight into working in a large global manufacturing business whilst preparing you for a professional career.

What you will get:

During the year placement you will gain invaluable experience working with a team of diverse employees. From day one you will be mentored by highly skilled Quality professionals who will guide and support you to ensure you receive the maximum from your placement.

Whilst on placement as a Quality Intern at Eaton, you will gain an understanding of many aspects of the Quality responsibilities such as how to use and create practices that directly impact how the products are manufactured on the shop floor. A big part of the Quality intern job is communicating and liaising with people from different departments in order to investigate and find solutions to problems as they arise during manufacture.

You will be involved with and have an impact on every single step in the engineering process from the drawing stage to the final shipping to our customers. You will work alongside teams throughout the manufacturing process to resolve quality issues and to improve the process as it continues.

In addition you will join an established programme alongside a cohort of interns from across the UK offering the opportunity to attend numerous training sessions and skills workshops.

Qualifications:

Candidates should ideally be undergraduates working towards a minimum of a 2:1 and studying in a related discipline. Please provide your first year classification on your application. As our placements are based in multiple sites across the UK you must be geographically flexible. You must have legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without company sponsorship and where appropriate comply with ITAR regulations.
