Product Management Placement
Our Product Management Intern Placement Programme is first-class when it comes to giving placement students real insight into working in a large global manufacturing business whilst preparing you for a professional career.
What you will get:
During the year placement you will gain invaluable experience working with a team of diverse employees. From day one you will be mentored by highly skilled Product Management professionals who will guide and support you to ensure you receive the maximum from your placement.
As a Product Management Intern you will bring new ideas to the team from customer discussions and applications support to develop existing ranges and new products for market. You will support the management of the full lifecycle of products, including product enhancements and discontinuation, as well as support product launches and ensure all required product information is available.
Consequently you will be required to maintain product and technical information on our company website, technical product sheets, approvals and drawing database to support product and brands. Whilst also providing applications advice and support through technical information, test reports and approval documents and customer visits.
Overall you will be required to liaise with the Research & Development team, Operations, Sales & Marketing to provide and distribute product information via electronic and written media, market strategies and costing/pricing advice and supplying information directly to customers.
In addition you will join an established programme alongside a cohort of interns from across the UK offering the opportunity to attend numerous training sessions and skills workshops.
Qualifications:
Candidates should ideally be undergraduates working towards a minimum of a 2:1 and studying in a related discipline. Please provide your first year classification on your application. As our placements are based in multiple sites across the UK you must be geographically flexible. You must have legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without company sponsorship and where appropriate comply with ITAR regulations.
