I really enjoyed the internship, although online, I really felt that it helped me to understand the role and get to know the company well. We were provided with many social events to get to know the team well, which helped to mirror the in-office interactions. Furthermore, we were set challenging yet enjoyable work to complete, that was actually of-use to the desk. I didn't feel like my time was wasted, which is great as an intern.
The internship, although in a virtual format was fantastic. We were given two projects to complete over the duration of the internship, which culminated in a presentation for each. We had access to a wealth of resources, from industry professionals to those working within JP Morgan itself. I always felt comfortable and at ease and I met some incredible people along the way. Everyone I met wanted to support and help me and I felt like this was a place in which I belonged.
The experience was enjoyable even while taking into account that it had to be converted to a fully virtual format.
The internship program was very enjoyable and rewarding. The whole program was very structured, and at all stages, there was a huge amount of support available. The HR team were great and set up lots of events for the interns, whilst still allowing free time for networking and project work. The events, such as senior speaker events including a session with Jamie Dimon, were exciting and one of the highlights of the program. Overall, everything was perfect.
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight spring week at jp morgan. it was a fantastic opportunity to learn about how each division of the firm operates: including asset management, wealth management, investment banking, markets (incl. DCM, ECM, etc), sales and trading and many more! Through the help of fitch learning, we were given quite but in-depth masterclasses on each division. we also had the ability to type any questions we had which were then answered by the teacher.
Incredible! It is true that I do prefer physical interaction - it seems to me that the team bonds better. However, given the situation with the global pandemic and the consequent virtual internship, I loved the way it was organised. J.P. Morgan managed to overcome the potential struggles that might appear when there are no real interactions. They enhanced human relationships and built a welcoming working environment.
The internship was a highly valuable experience that gave me many opportunities to improve my skills and network with lots of new people. It was very well organised with lots of planned events and talks. I really enjoyed getting to know different people working at the firm, as well as seeing my coding ability improve. The internship also gave me a lot more confidence when coding which I will take forward with me when continuing to develop this skill.
The summer internship program was the best internship I have ever completed. A combination of informative sessions and panels as well as project work and day-to-day insights enabled us to see what working at J.P. Morgan looks like. Regular feedback sessions helped us to perform at our best.
Incredibly enjoyable experience, despite being virtual. We got to interact with employees throughout the hierarchy and really understand the culture at the firm. The managers and project advisor were great at guiding us but still pushing us to think ourselves. They were also incredibly supportive of any personal events that took place. It was not only a great experience to allow us to learn about the firm but also about ourselves. I developed many skills that be beneficial for my future career.
This internship was a really good way to get to know the business and the specific job. It was a really good experience through which I learned a lot of new skills and got to speak to really encouraging people from the business which were always more than happy to explain and give further information on their own career experience. The routine I had working with other interns on team porjects and individual projects gave me a really good overview of all the different tasks that the job required.
The technology spring insight week was an incredible experience. Although the original event was cancelled J.P. Morgan managed to successfully and elegantly deliver a valuable experience. The welcome talks by senior officers were extraordinary as the gave tremendous insight on the inner workings of such a large institution that is J.P. Morgan. Furthermore the virtual software engineer internship and secure code warrior tournament allowed for us participants to apply our knowledge and skills in an interactive and exciting manner.
A fantastic insight into working at J.P. Morgan. The team worked really hard to provide an amazing opportunity whilst working remotely to complete meaningful work and learn a huge amount about different teams, areas and processes within the company. I enjoyed the challenges that were provided both in the work we were completing as well the the challenge of working remotely and building up working relationships and networks without physically meeting any members of the team.
I felt that my internship with J.P. Morgan was a thoroughly engaging and rewarding experience. I was made to feel part of a strong team from day one and that my contribution - no matter how small - was appreciated by even the senior members of my team. I know that I learned a lot, both in training and on the desk, and that skills I developed over the course of the internship will certainly equip me for the Full Time Analyst programme.
I really enjoyed the Spring Week programme put together by J.P. Morgan. It allowed me to explore the world of banking through the eyes and employees of the firm whilst learning about the culture, the wider industry, and various financial concepts typically used in day-to-day work. The insight was very valuable and has definitely driven my interest for a future career in the banking industry and has encouraged me to consider the plethora of internship opportunities available at the bank.
Really enjoyed the supportive and friendly culture! Although I wasnt able to attend the internship physically at Bournemouth, but the HR, managers and people in JPM really make interns feel very welcomed. Despite not being able to work on real projects, the case studies given provided the opportunity for interns to network, interview people and really understand what CADP entails. Every intern around me was driven and friendly, supporting each other without too much competition.
