About Beazley

In 1986 the US liability insurance market was in crisis. Not the best time to start a business, but at Beazley we see every risk as an opportunity to do things differently. So we took the plunge and started our business.

Our quiet and boundless curiosity have seen us embrace all manner of risks: Boldly going further from the bottom of the ocean to the surface of the moon.

By striving to do the right thing rather than the easy thing, we’re shaping a brighter future for our people, our partners and the planet.

From spaceships to subsea-ships, from big sporting events to celebrity concerts, specialist insurance couldn’t be more exciting and Beazley is the largest Lloyd’s syndicate! We insure all this as well as risks in Aviation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Fine Art & Jewellery, Yachts, Cyber, Terrorism, Property and more.

Our Graduate Programme for those who’ve graduated university is offered in Actuarial, Data, Cyber Underwriting, and Conduct Risk. Our programmes are the perfect transition from education to work, harnessing your skills and knowledge whilst equipping you with new ones as well as working experiences.

All programmes are designed by senior leaders who sponsor the programmes and you, have personal and professional development built in, and a strong support network– setting you up for continued success.

We’ll welcome you to the family and show our commitment, you’ll start as a permanent employee, entitling you to our renowned benefits including free lunch, reimbursed office travel, flexible religious holidays and private medical.

We hold high D&I ambitions, and encourage you to join an employee network such as: Beazley SHE, Race, Proud, Neurodiverse, Wellbeing etc. to continue our ED&I momentum.

Employees are also encouraged to partake in global volunteering and fundraising to support our charity partner year on year.

Our non-hierarchical structure and friendly culture makes Beazley a fantastic launchpad for your career- we can't wait to welcome you!
