Rabobank is not like other banks. With nearly two million members, we are one of the largest cooperatives in the Netherlands – and we put the interests and ambitions of our customers and members first.
Operating on the basis of cooperative principles, we provide financial services to around 8.4 million clients around the world, including retail banking, wholesale banking, private banking, leasing and real estate services.
We are present in over 120 countries and have offices in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania. Our aim is to be market leader across all financial markets in the Netherlands, and to be the world’s leading bank in the field of food and agribusiness.
It is our mission to make a substantial contribution towards achieving wealth and prosperity in the Netherlands and towards resolving food issues worldwide. By strengthening our customers and their communities, we aim to grow a better world together. We have recently launched the ‘Kickstart Food Program’, which is designed to support a global ambition to sustainably feed the world.
Encouraging people to make the most of their potential is one of the cornerstones of our strategy. We provide our employees with many opportunities for continuous development, and are committed to achieving diversity within our top teams and across our entire organisation.
Every year, we offer high-potential penultimate and final-year students the opportunity to join us on a 10-week internship in our London branch. Based in one of the world’s most dynamic financial centres, with beautiful offices on the banks of the Thames, Rabobank London is an ideal place to develop an understanding of financial services and gain insight into how our business works.
Our interns take on real-world responsibilities while developing skills, knowledge and experience that can help in their future careers. Those who perform well will often get the opportunity to return to us later as graduate trainees.
