Really enjoyed. There are many things to do such as an introduction of accountancy, mock interviews, quiz, talk to the employees and so on. The people in there are so nice and they are really helpful and would like to give us advice about our career. It is also nice to enjoy the free cookies and sandwiches.
Very much so. I always felt valued and was given a decent level of responsibility. It was really well organised and everyone was really friendly and helpful. There was good training in place so that you felt confident before you started and the social events were really good.
I enjoyed my experience completely, the office was very friendly and the work engaging, varied and challenging, The business clearly puts a lot of work into the internship programme and this shows with the experiences and trainings that the interns could get involved in. I feel the internship has allowed me to develop my skills in a fun yet formal environment.
I really enjoyed the internship. I got to experience a variety of different sectors as well as a range of the different services that BDO offer. As well as this, I also got to experience an audit on a client site which may not have been possible if my internship was with another firm. I got to see the audit process right from the planning stages, right up to the signing of the accounts which was really valuable.
I really enjoyed my time at BDO, it flew by and I was always busy with work. There were lots of opportunities to get involved with social activities. For example, the first week was in Birmingham where there were social activities every night and I also went to the oval one evening to watch the cricket. Everyone made me feel very welcome and whenever I worked on a new job the people I worked with were very friendly.
It has been a great privilege to work amongst you a talented workforce. My time here at BDO has been wonderful and I have learnt new skills and gained an expansive understanding of audit. I was able to apply the theory of auditing that I learnt at university on real clients.
I very much enjoyed the last three weeks of my internship at BDO as I was placed on to a fieldwork assignment with the execution of an audit - the first three weeks were a little slow as I wasn't given this exposure until later on and was stuck in the office..
I really enjoyed my internship as I was at the clients from the first week, and given valuable work to do. Working in audit meant I was only at the office for a few days, and so was travelling to the clients' office most of the time, although this made the days quite long, I really enjoyed being at the client's site.
The experience that I had with BDO was very enjoyable, I was exposed to a large range of auditing tasks within the company and also introduced into the other sectors within the company. The opening week in Birmingham and the closing days in London were incredibly enjoyable and it was great meeting all the other interns.
