Introducing: Our Partnership With Students In Placement

Alt Text!

So you’re thinking of doing a placement year? Amazing! It’s an exciting step for anyone starting out in their career. That said, we know it can feel daunting too. Moving to a new city, leaving your university digs and most of all your friends.

Our founders, Ollie and Ali, felt the same when they embarked on their placements. But, we want you to know that you don’t have to feel alone. In fact, there are THOUSANDS of other placement students who are in the same boat as you.

We’d like to introduce our partner, Students in Placement. Set up by students for students, this online forum is dedicated to helping people like you create friends whilst on their placement. Read on to find out more.

Starting as a university project, the Students in Placement team found that a lot of young people were experiencing troubles with securing a placement as well as feeling loneliness and isolation whilst on placement.

This took a huge toll on student’s mental health, and it was alarming to see no solutions to help students combat this. That’s why Students in Placement was born.

Today, the online forum is dedicated to helping students create friends whilst on placement.

Not only does this enhance your experience but ultimately improves your mental health too! Using their own experience, The SiP team also provides helpful advice to students about the placement application process.

Both RateMyPlacement and Students in Placement are dedicated to making the search for placements simpler and more enjoyable.

Sharing a common mission and values, our partnership was a no brainer. RateMyPlacement subscribers can access SiP’s student forum, finding potential new contacts when they’re on placement.

Plus, SiP users also have easy access to job opportunities via our website. Happy days!
